Summary

When a new message arrives in an active one-to-one conversation, it currently produces notifications. This causes notification spam. The desired behavior is to suppress all notifications when the user is already in that conversation.

When a new message arrives in an active one-to-one conversation, no notification should be produced — neither unread nor read.

Actual Behaviour

Notifications are produced for new messages in an active one-to-one conversation, resulting in notification spam.
