Keyboard Window Control

Move and resize floating windows without using the mouse.

Super+Alt+Left Move window left by 20 pixels
Super+Alt+Right Move window right by 20 pixels
Super+Alt+Up Move window up by 20 pixels
Super+Alt+Down Move window down by 20 pixels
Super+Ctrl+Left Shrink window width by 20 pixels
Super+Ctrl+Right Grow window width by 20 pixels
Super+Ctrl+Up Shrink window height by 20 pixels
Super+Ctrl+Down Grow window height by 20 pixels
Note: Window must be floating for keyboard move/resize to work. Toggle floating with Super+F9.

Window Marks

Mark windows with letters (a-z) for instant switching, similar to Vim marks.

Super+M then a-z Mark current window with letter
Super+' then a-z Jump to window marked with letter
Tip: Use marks to quickly switch between frequently used windows. For example, mark your editor with e and terminal with t.

Workspace Navigation

F1 - F9 Switch to workspace 1-9
Shift+F1 - Shift+F9 Move focused window to workspace 1-9
Ctrl+Alt+Right Switch to next workspace
Ctrl+Alt+Left Switch to previous workspace

Layout Control

Super+Space Cycle layout mode (tiling → floating → monocle → centered-master → columns → fibonacci)
Super+H Shrink master area
Super+L Expand master area
Super+I Increase master window count
Super+D Decrease master window count

Window Snapping

Window snapping is composable. Press the same key twice to expand to full width/height in that direction.

Super+Left Snap left 50% (press twice for full width)
Super+Right Snap right 50% (press twice for full width)
Super+Up Snap top 50% (press twice for full height)
Super+Down Snap bottom 50% (press twice for full height)
Tip: Combine horizontal and vertical snaps for quarter-screen windows. For example, Super+Left then Super+Up snaps to top-left quarter.
