Sure, Firefox and its derivates often come with the combined address box and search box by default, but at least there I have the option to configure it right. There's no way to configure Edge or any other Chromium-based brower to my liking.,Probably not quite as addicitve as sugar.,@retoor

Tech changes slowly in our sector and we're stuck with an ancient architecture, with crappy old languages, and haven't even had any sort of versioning up until recently. It has crossed my mind to write a script for deployment, but that won't be necessary as we're finally working on introducing proper devops with versioning and all the sorts. We're a tiny dev team and our core systems were developed by two now-retired dudes that ran the tech for 30 years precisely.,Yeah, i hate doors too, and door handles. They are not designed for people like us. I also hate shoelaces, touch screens, some plastic bags that are too hard to open, protruding walls, any irregularly shaped furniture...hell, I actually hate most stuff that requires any motoric skills and coordination.
