The game's designer had been reporting many issues in the MP mode to the lead programmer.

Turned out the root cause of _all_ those issues reported by the designer was the Random function called at the beginning of the match.
The thing was, the function was being called _on both machines_ - the Host's && the Client's, instead of just the Host's who would then send over the result to the Client so that the game would be in sync.
Effectively the Host && the Client had been playing two separate games.
Unfortunately since I only heard about this from the lead programmer I have no idea what introduced the issue in the first place.,...could've been because of the development hell.
I _think_ the programmer had been complaining about the designer constantly wanting design changes, but my memory might be misleading me.,@retoor I've been dealing w/ portables some decade ago.

Apparently there's at least one situation, where even though you are a normal, upstanding citizen, paying taxes, bills on time etc, they can call you a debtor && basically rob you of your money, because 'you owe them'.
In short, I lost roughly 3k that way.

So almost 1y w/o job during which time I burned through all of my savings, unfortunately.
A few factors were at play then that made it possible that it had lasted this long.
All in all I somehow bounced back... finally.,@retoor Have been compiling this update in another window, while trying to get this thing working, while enjoying the chat in another thread ;-) .
Anyway, the progress is somewhat this:
0. Downloading ollama was painless.
1. Apparently needed python for ollama to run the code snippets. Installed it... !sure whether all is well w/ the installation, as sudo make install had a return status 1. Error seems to be zlib !present, but it _should be there. I'll probably have to look into this some more.
2. Python3 _seems_ to be installed, so I proceeded w/ the other ollama part.
3. Pulling the ollama model went fine.
4. pip install ollama chromadb was giving me problems, so I had to pipx that one.
5. Currently stuck at attempting to make the example.py because it keeps erroring out. Need to figure out wtf is going on...,...
6. Couldn't find plot.py, but chances are you've taken it down as per the comment above. Also, I probably don't need it until after I can successfully run the tikker... which has to detect my kbd first. Screenshot a few comments above.
7. Made an account on your site... just in case.,@retoor I'll give you a summary: South Park roasts the freemium games.
Loved it, even though I was in that shitty business.

- ollama has been installed.
- example.py _seems_ to be properly made.
- attempting to run it halts @ import ollama 'no module named ollama'.,@retoor I have seen that rant of yours regarding the costs of LLMs.

So, I'm guessing the following directories:
log_keys, log_summaries and log_lines

Most / all of the initial problems on my side had been due to fucked up installation of Python.
On one end the system saw the newest 3.13, on the other the 3.12.
The easiest solution for me was to reinstall Kubuntu && start from scratch.
It went fairly smoothly the 2nd time around.
Regarding the thing I'm working on - apart from returning to work to my same old testing routine, I'm back to reading / learning C++ on my own free time.,@retoor This one made me laugh...
